Brendan Monaghan is General Manager of the award-winning, digital media property Slate, where he oversees business development, strategy and business operations including finance, human resources and marketing.  In this role, Monaghan leads all of Slate’s efforts to identify and build non-display and loyalty-based revenue. In 2014, Monaghan led the team responsible for launching Slate Plus – Slate’s premium, paid membership initiative intended to deepen the relationship with the site’s most loyal and engaged readers. He’s been with The Slate Group since 2009.

Monaghan received his master's in Business Administration at the MIT Sloan School of Management and his undergraduate degree from Duquense University. He lives with his wife, son and daughter in Fairfax, VA.
